On 3 June to Trieste a convention will hold on the search and the innovation in the naval field



Next tuesday near the Auditorium of Pier IV in the port of Trieste will hold a convention from the title "Search and innovation in the naval field: the results of the projects Innovative OpenSHIP and Porte Firebreak" in the course of which the results and the possible industrial applications of OpenSHIP and Innovative Porte will be introduced Firebreak, two research projects industrial co-financed from POR FESR 2007 - 2013 Objective regional Competitiveness and Occupation of the Friuli Venice Julia, in the within of the ban for the industrial realization of research projects in the fields of shipbuilding the naval one and the nautical one from diporto.

OpenSHIP has developed to a virtual prototype for the simulation of the fluid interaction/ship/propeller that, taking into consideration the mutual infuences between the wake generated from bottom and the operation of the propeller, afford to virtually estimate the behavior of the ship and its propulsive system, with a Time and cost reduction to offer, and an increase of the quality of the produced one.

Innovative doors Firebreak have studied new types of doors firebreak in order to on board improve safety of fleeting cruise ships and transport, concentrating on alternative methods of connection between the frame of the door and the structure ship, and new progettuali concepts that preview I use it of alternative insulating materials.
