Initiative of Interporto Bologna and Terminali Italy in order to support and to stimulate the market of the intermodal transport



Italy terminals, society of the group Railroads of the State (FS), and Management Interporto Services, societies of the group Interporto Bologna, have constituted HIL - Hub Intermodal and Logistic, net of enterprises that has as objective the creation of an only actor in charge of logistic integration of all the rings of the chain of the transport and to the management of the terminalistici services. Draft of the first net in Europe between a interportuale platform and the manager of national railway infrastructures been born - the two partner has explained - in order to assert a new model of finalized business to attract new intermodal traffics and to answer to the new requirements of the supply chain.

That of Bologna, with Parma (Castelguelfo), will be the first terminals to take part of the net in which the activities with the objective will leave to conform and to optimize the management of the inserted services of handling and railway maneuver in an integrated logistic operativity. Management of the last railway mile, valorization and optimization of the infrastructural assets and constant dialogue with the productive section will be the HIL pillars, to which it will make from adhesive the search of synergies and cooperations in the context of the long transport goods and the stiff logistic chains to widen the range of services to support of the modal diversion and the arranged modality road-track.
