Carnival signs an agreement with the CSSC with the objective to constitute joint venture for the construction of cruise ships in China



The crocieristico group American Carnival Corporation & plc has undersigned a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese navalmeccanico group Lowers Is Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) with the objective to estimate the possibility to constitute joint venture in the field of the shipbuilding being extended the agreement to the navalmeccanico group Italian Fincantieri, world leader in the construction of cruise ships.

Carnival has explained that in the within of the understanding it will work with CSSC and Fincantieri in order to plan the first cruise ship of constructed world-wide standard in China. Moreover the possibility will be examined also to constitute a Chinese crocieristica company and to develop harbour activities let alone to form staff and to operate logistic activities.
