Tuesday to Salerno will hold the workshop "Portualità and logistics: the South moves, in direction of the development"



Next tuesday from hours 10,30 to the 13,30 to Salerno, in the Great Hall of the Genoese ones of Centro Congressi Internazionale "Salernoincontra", will hold a workshop from the title "Portualità and logistics: the South moves, in direction of the organized development" in collaboration with the Harbour Authority of Salerno. The event joins in the within of the activities of communication of the Authority of Management of National Operating Program (PON) Nets and Mobility 2007-2013 of the Ministry of Infrastructures and the Transports - Head office for the development of the territory, the international programming and projects.

The workshop represents the second one of four initiatives that are carrying out in the regions Objective Convergence (Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily) and that they aim to involve the Harbour institutions and Authorities, the private entrepreneurs and operators, the academic world, the experts of logistics and trade associations. The attempt is that to on the issues focus the attention of the logistics and the portualità to the South and, in particular, on the realized infrastructural participations in Southern Italy d' Italy, from the value of the Italian harbour Network to the importance of "making system" until the current reform of the ports, with a look on the perspectives of increase and the strategies for the next years.

For the event the port of Salerno for the importance has been chosen that the project "Door the West" covers, is for the entity of the deep ones allocated pairs to about 150 million euros, is because it answers to full load to the purposes of the PON Nets and Mobility 2007-2013, improving the system of intermodal transport. In fact the project allows, by means of the construction of about five kilometers of galleries, the connection directed between port and clears highway and railway. To this - it has emphasized the harbour agency of Salerno - the ability which showed by the Municipality and of the Harbour Authority of Salerno must be added to use the communitarian financings compiutamente and, therefore, to realize important infrastructural participations.

The encounter will be opened by a representative of the Authority of Management of the PON Nets and Mobility, by the mayor of Salerno, Vincenzo De Luca, from the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno, Guido Arzano, and from the president of the Harbour Authority of Salerno, Andrea Annunziata. Moreover Nicola Coccia, past president and member of the executive council of Confitarma, Marcello Donnarumma of the commercial direction of the Grimaldi Group will take part, Giuseppe Amoruso, managing director of Amoruso Giuseppe Spa, and Vincenzo Galdi of the Department of Industrial engineering of the University of the Studies of Salerno.

During the workshop the travel of the goods will be projected the documentary "", a distance that it has seen engaged entirety private institutions and operators, followed from a round table who will be moderated by journalist Alessandro Fava of the Plan.
