Financing of 15,8 million euros to the port of Trieste for the realization of the Logistic Platform



the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA), the organism of the EU commission that is succeeded to the Trans-European Transport Network Agency Executive (TRIES EA) in order to manage the realization of the transeuropea infrastructural net TRIES, has allocated 15,8 million euros in order to finance the yard for the construction of the Logistic Platform of the port of Trieste. The financing is relative to the first extract of the plan.

the decision of the European agency follows the participation of the Harbour Authority of Trieste to ban CEF (Connecting Europe Facility), Transport Call 2014, Multiannual one, Priority "Corridors of the Core Network, than with the ports of Koper and Venice has introduced a combined proposal called "Improving maritime North Adriatic ports' accessibility and hinterland connections to the Core Network (NAPA4CORE)", plan that the realization of harbour works finalized to the potenziamento of the infrastructural equipment of base previews in order to guarantee the future development of the traffics and the multimodali logons.
