Study in order to ulteriorly reduce the environmental impact of the harbour activities to Savona



Yesterday in the fortress of the Priamar to Savona, within a seminary on the topic "compatible Energies for the harbour cities: the Savona system", a study of relative feasibility to a system project is introduced that answers to the requirements of greater compatibility of all the activities tied to the marine transport with the safeguard of the atmosphere, search that is realized by the Harbour Authority of Savona in collaboration with S.V.Port Service and the university Campus of Savona. The study is propedeutico to a preliminary project that will follow in the next few months.

The focus of the study, illustrated by Federico Delfino and Mariano Rosasco, is based on integration of the current technologies of distribution onshore electrical worker with the realization of fleeting the infrastructure necessary in order to receive the first fed ship to LNG previewed to Savona to end 2019. In the course of the seminary, introduced from the mayor of Savona, Federico Berruti, and from the regional city council member to Infrastructures and the Ports, Edoardo Rixi, Mariano Rosasco of S.V. Port Service has explained that "the objective of this study is to be able to supply to the new cruise ships a clean fuel which the gas methane. We try to continue to improve the environmental performances of our port and also this last study goes in that sense".

Federico Delfino, prorettore of the Faculty of Environmental engineering of the university Campus of Savona, has specified that "from several months it is in existence a collaboration between our Campus and the Harbour Authority of Savona. The emissions - it has found - are a problem of all the Italian and European ports that must be adapted to the directives with near expirations. Currently there are two working groups near the Mit and IT PUT just to go to a national definition, to introduce in center EU, of the norms that will order the realization of the superstructures for the onshore connections and as fuel naval use of GNL".

While yesterday the port of Savona-Go is visited by five operators of the port of Tianjin. In the first part of the morning the Chinese delegation, guided from the president of the port of Tianjin Group, mrs.
