The port of Genoa in last January, month in which has established the own new record of handling of the container relatively to the first month of the year having had totaled 186,304 teu ( on 1° March 2017), it has enlivened a total traffic of the goods pairs almost 4,4 million tons, with an increment of +7.7% regarding 4,0 million tons of enlivened cargos in January 2016.

Last January the traffic of mineral oils has grown pure, than it has been attested 1,4 million to tons (+7.5%), while that of the other liquid bulk is dropped of the -3,6% to 58 thousand tons, of which 33 thousand tons of chemicals (- to 16.7%) and 25 thousand tons of oils vegetables and wine (+21.8%).
The traffic of the solid bulk is diminished is in the commercial field of the port, in which tons (- 42.1%), than in the industrial field where the traffic has been of 216 thousand tons (- 11.5% are enlivened 33 thousand), of which 204 thousand tons of producing iron and steel (- to 16.4%) and 12 thousand tons of other bulk sand banks respect to an annulled volume in January 2016.
Last January the traffic of the passengers has been of 110 thousand people (+4.9%), of which 41 thousand crocieristi (+30.0%) and 69 thousand fleeting of ferries (- 5.8%).
