In the first trimester of the 2017 economic results and the volume of the orders recorded from the Cargotec group, that it produces to means of raising and handling with the marks Kalmar, MacGregor and Hiab, it has recorded a contraction. In particular, the turnover is dropped of the -4% being piled to 794 million euros regarding 828 million in the first three months of 2016. The operating profit is piled to 56,3 million euros (- 2%) and the profit clearly to 36,5 million euros (- 7%). The new acquired orders from the Finnish group have been attested to 857 million euros (- 5%) and the value of the orderbook on 31 March has turned out of beyond 1,8 billion euros, down of the -12% regarding almost 2,1 billion euros on March 31, 2016.

The Kalmar brand, than work mainly in the segment of the cranes and means of handling for the terminalistico-harbour field, has closed the first three months of this year with a turnover of 364 million euros (- 1%) and an operating profit of 26,6 million euros (+4%). The new orders to Kalmar are diminished of the -1% attesting itself to 448 million euros and the value of the pocketbook orders of the brand on 31 March has turned out pairs to 977 million euros (0%).

The MacGregor brand, assets in the segment of means and the equipments for the naval field and the offshore industry, has archived item the first trimester of 2017 with ulterior an sensitive bending of the result having totaled turnover of 160 million euros (- 26%) and an operating profit of 1,8 million euros (- 80%). In strong contraction also the new orders, that they are diminished of the -30% to 121 million euros. The value of the orderbook is come down of the -30% to 556 million euros.

The best ones turned out are recorded by the Hiab brand, than work in the field of means of handling for the terrestrial transport and the industrial section, that it has totaled a volume record of new orders pairs to 288 million euros (+5%). The value of the orderbook is gone up of +6% to 302 million euros. In the first three months of this Hiab year it has reached a turnover of 270 million euros (+10%) and has recorded an operating profit of 39,5 million euros (+21.9%).

The revenues of the services have grown in Hiab and Kalmar, while they are diminished in MacGregor because of the difficult condition of the market. In the first trimester our activity in the field software has recorded positive developments that reflect our completed efforts during the last few years. Already in the first trimester - it has announced - 32% of our turnover are produced by the services and the software".
