On 26 May to Ravenna one will hold according to national forum on safety in the ports



Next 26 May to the Palace of the Conferences of Ravenna will hold the "2° national Forum on safety in the ports" organized from the national Association Groups Ormeggiatori and Barcaioli Italian Ports (Angopi) in collaboration with the General Command of the Body of the Harbour offices and with Federagenti and the sponsorship of the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transports.

The event has between the objectives the promotion of the professionality of the technical-nautical services in order to raise the efficiency and safety of the ports, the sharing of objectives and values in order to project the Italian portualità in the future and the valorization of the best practice. Moreover the event will be the occasion in order to introduce a concrete program of actions, between which the birth of the Observatory on the safety that is developed by the promoters of the first edition of the Forum, it is turned last year to Catania.

To carry the salutes of address to the participants they will be the president of the Region Emilia Romagna, Stefano Bonaccini, the mayor of Ravenna, Michele De Pascale, the president of the Authority of harbour System of the Sea Adriatic Centro Settentrionale, Daniele Rossi, and the commander of the port of Ravenna, Pietro Ruberto.

To introduce the day - moderated from the director of the magazine "Ship2Shore", Angelo Scorza - he will be the president of Angopi, Cesare Guidi. Moreover the participations of Maria Cristina Farina of the Head office for the vigilance on the Harbour Authorities are previewed, of Andrea Agostinelli, head of 2° the Unit of the General Command of the Body of the Harbour offices - Guard Costiera, of senator Altero Matteoli, president of VIII the permanent Commission of Palazzo Madama, of the member of parliament Michele Meta, president of IX the Commission Trasporti of the Chamber of Deputies, and admiral Vincenzo Melone of the General Command of the Body of the Harbours-office of Port-Guard Costiera.

To conclude work of sitting, in the course of which the Prize for safety of the marine Transport will be conferred that will assign an acknowledgment to the carried out exemplary operations from the technical-nautical services, will take part the minister of Infrastructures and the Transports, Graziano Delrio.

In the same day of the Forum it will be carried out, always inside of the Palace of the Conferences of Ravenna, 68the shareholders' meeting of Federagenti.
