ANITA confirmation its not to every ulterior opening on the street cabotage



The association of the road haulage enterprises goods and logistics ANITA has restated own opinion negative respect to every ulterior opening on the street cabotage.

Past Wednesday the EU commission has introduced the package "Europe in motion" that it previews eight legislative initiatives that they regard the section of the street transport. ANITA has remembered that, in the optical to check the phenomenon of the social dumping goods in foreign market by the conveyors of the East Europe, the proposals that the Commission is left over they modify the rules on the cabotage, on the international transportation, those on the rest and, more in general terms, aims for a simplification of the bureaucratic procedures at the expense of drivers and enterprises, time to favor the digitalisation of documents.

The Italian association has specified that, also sharing some proposals as for example the contrast to the so-called enterprises "PO Boxes", that is the enterprises ghost, a greater elasticity in the interpretation of the timetable of guide to go to an adequate destination and in the use of the double driver, ANITA is opposed to every form of liberalization of the cabotage.

ANITA has remembered that "currently, the rules of the cabotage fix a maximum of three travels over seven days, but - has found the association - in order to reduce the travels in vain and to respect so the nature of the norm, would be enough a single travel of consecutive cabotage to an international transportation".

"ANITA - Baumgartner has announced - has undersigned with eight European associations of the street transport a document that restates the clean one taken of contrary position to the modifications proposed from the Commission, on the line traced from the nine ministers of the Transports signers of the "Road Alliance" in cabotage topic". ANITA has specified that to such purpose the association already has activated itself near the European parliamentarians of the Commission transports in order to make to modify such proposal, unwarrantable deduction and time to favor the treacherous competition instead fighting it.
