Started on Porto Nogaro the work in order to guarantee safety of navigation and to increase the competitiveness of the port of call



Fridays to Porto Nogaro are delivered to the complementary work and of improvement of the urgent work for the dredging of the river Horn, participations that are finalized to guarantee safety of navigation, to favor the circulation of the Lagunari waters and the reciprocation water as well as to contain the dispersion of the polluting substances in the lagoon atmosphere. Draft - the city council member to the Infrastructures of the Region has explained Friuli Venice Julia, Mariagrazia Santoro - "of the last passage of a distance in order to come true an infrastructure that we will deliver to the harbour enterprises, between 120 days, in order to return the area more and more competitive".

"All the efforts put in existence with the works already realized and with that in fieri - it has added Santoro - go in the direction of the development of the commercial port of call of Porto Nogaro and of the industrial area in which it is inserted because we believe that this is one of the poles on which to invest. The optical is that to give again competitiveness to a zone, headquarters in the action of the Region, that he is complementary to the regional harbour system".

The city council member has specified that the ulterior work will complete "the important participation of dredging of the river Horn already realized that has afforded to bring back the backdrops to -7,50 above sea level".

The participations, that pairs to 1.183.720 euros from the Temporary Association of Enterprise constituted from the societies Innotec and Taverna will be realized thanks to regional resources, regard the maintenance and the restoration of the luminous signalings along all the channel, the increase of the entire port channel (from Porto Buso and Porto Margreth for 15 kilometers) for 35 meters regarding the 25 current ones, with backdrop to -7,50 above sea level. The first 200 of the 800 meters of the dock of Porto Margreth will be returned operating also, from cleats 1 to 7, than currently they are not usable. This will allow to increase the number of moorings, to increase the traffic and the tonnage.

In the 120 days of duration of the work the digging of about 110.000 cubic metres is previewed that will come for the majority dipped to sea.

The commander of the Harbour office of Porto Nogaro, Daniele Vinci, has evidenced that the participations of next realization "will implement safety of the ships that approach the port of Porto Nogaro" and have remembered the recent decree that allows to let in the port of call ships with greater draught.
