Last month the port of Valencia has established the own new record of traffic of the container enlivened to August



Last month the harbour system of Valencia, formed from the ports of call of Valencia, Sagunto and Gandía, has recorded the own new record of traffic of the container enlivened in the month of August having had totaled 452,642 teu, with an increment of +8.7% regarding August 2016 when the precedence was established record with 415.955 teu. The single traffic of container full has grown of +6.8%, with a rise of +7.9% of the teu full in export, a full increase of +5.3% of the container in import and a full increment of +4.4% of the container in transit. Container handling empty is diminished by -18,5%.

In the single port of Valencia in the first eight months of this year the total containerized trade has been pairs to 3.165.851 teu (+1.6%).

Totally in the first eight months of the 2017 harbour system of Valencia has enlivened 49.071.233 tons of goods, with an increase of +2.9% on the same period of 2016.
