In the first nine months of the 2017 traffic of the container in the ports of Naples and Salerno it has marked increases respective of +10.1% and +12.2%



In the first nine months of this year the traffic of the container enlivened from the ports administered from the Authority of Harbour System of the Tyrrhenian Sea Central has been pairs to 714.889 teu, with a progression of +11.1% regarding the correspondent period of 2016. The containers in income have totaled 365,026 teu (+11.6%) and those in escape 349,863 teu (+10.5%).

In the single port of Naples the containerized trade has been pairs altogether to 387.396 teu, with an increase of +10.1% regarding the first nine months last year. The containers in income have been pairs to 201.152 teu (+11.5%) and the container in escape to 186.244 teu (+8.5%). It disembarks and it embarks of container full are piled totally to 287.545 teu (+5.1%) and it disembarks and it embarks of container empty to 78.483 teu (+3.6%). The traffic of transhipment has attested to 21.368 teu (+748.6%), of which 18,311 container full (+743.4%) and 539 empty containers (+980.0%).

In the port of Salerno a total of 327.493 teu is enlivened, with an increment of +12.2% on the period January-september of 2016. The traffic in income has been of 163.847 teu (+11.7%) and that in escape of 163.619 teu (+12.8%). In the solo third trimester of the 2017 traffic of the enlivened total container from the port of Naples has been pairs to 132.466 teu and that enlivened from the port of Salerno to 116.298 teu, with increases respective of +8.9% and +16.0% on the period July-september last year.

The total of the enlivened crocieristico traffic in the first nine months of 2017 from the two of Campania ports has been of 795.449 passengers, with a bending of the -30,2% on the first nine months of 2016, of which 711,660 in transit (- 30.8%) and 83,789 as home port (- 24.0%). In the single port of Naples the crocieristi have been altogether 737,854 (- 29.7%) and to Salerno 57,595 (- 35.8%).

Totally the remaining traffic of the passengers in the two ports, constituted from the segment of the ferries and local the marine services, has totaled 6.171.624 people, with an increase of +4.4% on the first nine months last year, of which 834,005 passengers of the services ferry (+3.6%) and 5.337.619 passengers of local services (+4.6%). In the single port of Naples the passengers of both services have been 5.551.040 (+2.7%), of which 4.819.170 of the local services (+2.8%) and 731,870 of the advanced services of navigation to 20 miles (+2.3%), and in the port of Salerno 620,584 (+23.2%), of which 518,449 of local services (+25.2%) and 102,135 of the services beyond 20 miles (+13.6%).

In the solo third trimester of this year the crocieristico traffic in the port of Naples is piled 402.805 passengers, with a contraction of the -30,3% on the same period of 2016, and in that of Salerno to 31.032 passengers (- 44.4%).

In the first nine months of the 2017 traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Salerno it has been pairs to a total of 11.250.549 tons, with an increase of +16.5% regarding the same period last year. The goods in import has been pairs to 5.778.502 tons (+21.7%) and those in export to 5.472.047 tons (+11.5%). In the field of the goods several the traffic has totaled 11.159.598 tons (+16.7%), of which 4.105.601 containerized tons of goods (+9.2%), 6.309.160 tons of rotabili (+25.7%) and 744,837 tons of other cargos (- 5.6%). The traffic of the solid bulk has been pairs to 90.951 tons (+2.3%).

The AdSP of the Tyrrhenian Sea Central has announced that, relatively to the port of Naples, the traffic of the liquid bulk has been attested to 3.768.129 tons -3,9%), of which 2.748.479 producing tons of oil refined (- 7.7%), 771,484 oil producing tons of gaseous, liquified or compressed and natural gas (+14.3%) and 248,166 tons of other liquid bulk (- 7.3%).
