The work will allow to use the spaces available at best
April 13, 2018
In these days to the Terminal Container Ravenna (TCR), the terminal managed from the group Contship Italy in the port of Ravenna, is begun the work of demolition of the tooth of mooring of 935 square metres used until some year makes for the disembarkation of containers and rotabili from the ships ro-ro. TRC has explained to have determined the demolition of the work as I approach it during the last few years had fallen almost out of use because the ships ro-ro of new generation are all which provided with tilted posterior ramp (quarter ramp) that disembarkation affords to carry out the boarding operations/on the traditional linear docks.
Once completed the work, TCR will benefit of a dock without interruptions that will afford to use the spaces available at best, mooring without problems ships of greater dimensions of the current ones.
The first phase of the work previews the removal of the asphalt that covers the carrabile plan of the wharf; below provvederà to cut the insole in reinforced concrete so as to create of the portions that will be moved to earth for being demolished, avoiding therefore to carry out the operation in sea directly. At last it will be carried out the cut of the pylons of support and the their next removal to the aims of the demolition and digestion.
