In recent days Hub Milan, the center of the managed intermodal terminal from the group Contship Italy, and to La Spezia, near the center of the Authority of Harbour System of the Ligurian Sea has held to Melzo near Rail Oriental, the meeting of the project Intermodel EU, that it is financed inside of the program Horizon 2020. The project has as purpose that to develop to a model of simulation of the operations of cargo and drainage of container and of the railway connections between the port of and the terminal of Melzo through the Building Information Modeling, a method in order to optimize the planning, to realize and to manage infrastructures through the aid of a software.
In particular, scope of the project is of giving to an important contribution to the development plans of the Authority of Harbour System and of the Contship group it is for the work of widening of the marine terminal and the new railroads in the port of that for the railway operativity of the terminal of Melzo.
