Agreement MIUR - Fincantieri in order to strengthen the relationship between qualified formation and navalmeccanico field



Today, in occasion of a visit near the yard of Genoa Sestri West of the Fincantieri group and near the center of its controlled Cetena (Center for Naval Technology Study), the minister of the Instruction, the University and Search (MIUR), Marco Bussetti, and the managing director of Fincantieri, Giuseppe Bono, has signed an understanding protocol face to strengthen the relationship between the system of instruction and advanced technical formation and the world of work in the navalmeccanico field.

The agreement intends to offer to the students of Technical colleges (ITS) new formative high opportunities and characterized profile for the acquisition of spendable competences and is born from the acknowledgment, by the MIUR and Fincantieri, of the necessity of new professional to technical address, indispensable profiles in order to support the increase of the field in which work the shipbuilding group. The parts have evidenced that the understanding assumes detail importance in consideration of the fact that Fincantieri, with its takeovers, has a presence on the entire national territory.

Moreover MIUR and Fincantieri have been engaged to realize always greater and stronger synergies in order to contribute with own resources, experiences and acquaintances to the improvement of the formation of the ITS. They will favor the development of distances you turn to form technical-specialized figures online with the profiles searched in the within of the navalmeccanico field, valuing through specialization course and innovation the formative excellence already you anticipate on the territories, also through the definition, in collaboration with the ITS, of actions common in order to orient the young people to choose the formation distances post diploma.

In particular, initiatives and projects finalized to the attainment of the purposes of the protocol the promuoverà MIUR, with particular attention to the technical-professional update of the teacher and the scholastic staff, to which Fincantieri will participate also. The company the ITS regarding the productive row promuoverà to territorial level, in order to favor confront with the world of the school and the insertion of the resources, also making use of agencies or already existing territorial institutions of field (districts, poles or cluster). Fincantieri, moreover, will support the didactic activity offering to business testimonies and guided tours to own productive sites.

Al fine to assure the performance of the understanding protocol and to allow the strategic planning of the necessary participations, the MIUR and Fincantieri have agreed to institute an appropriate technical committee, composed from representatives of both the parts, that it will manage a relation anniversary on the assumed initiatives.

"It is very positive - minister Bussetti has commented - than a great company as Fincantieri demonstrates to sensibility and attention on the topic of the formation of the young people. In so far as, the Technical colleges confirm an optimal instrument in order to offer to our boys the acquaintances necessary in order to guarantee a fast income on the labor market. For this, the government intends to upgrade and to support the ITS favoring a full collaboration with the territories and the enterprises. From this point of view, I make mine compliments to president Toti (Liguria Region, ndr), to the Hollow city council member and the managing director Bono for as they are making system in the interest of our boys".

The city council member to the Instruction and the formation of the Region Liguria, Ilaria Cavo, has remembered that the regional agency "has always supported these distances and - has specified - is available to activate and to support course ITS necessary in order to answer to the requirements of Fincantieri and the shipbuilding one, in virtue also of a protocol in its turn signed with the company that has already carried to the activation of training courses of various level".
