In 2018 SBB CFF FFS Cargo it is returned to the profit



In the 2018 operating activity of railway group Helvetic SBB CFF FFS in the segment cargo it has reached a level record with trains that have transported a traffic of the goods pairs to 17,0 billion tonnellate/km, with an increment of +1.7% on 2017 when the precedence was established peak anniversary. In the single second half of the year of the 2018 enlivened traffic it has been pairs to 8,3 billion tonnellate/km, with a rise of +2.3% on the first half of the year precedence.

The company has announced that, with the objective to improve the performances in according to activity segment, until the end of 2019 it will test with the customers the possible alternatives to a service to fixed days, for example with a grouping of the deliveries: the first lead experiences - it has specified the Helvetic group - evidence that in about 60% of the cases it is possible to already find better solutions regarding those in action

The division goods SBB CFF FFS Cargo has closed the exercise 2018 with a profit of 12,9 million franchi clearly Swiss respect to a net loss of -238,7 million in the exercise anniversary precedence. The society has specified that if the return to the profit testifies that the introduced measures in order to improve the results have been effective, however budget 2018 has benefitted also of extraordinary voices, as lower amortizations because of the adjustment of value of 2017 or sales of rotabile material.

The Helvetic group has announced that last year SSB International Cargo, society participated to 75% from SBB CFF FFS and to 25% from the Hupac compatriot who work mainly services on the axis north-south between the nordeuropei ports and Italy, has recorded a positive result pairs to 6,1 million franchi Swiss thanks to an increase of the revenues of 11,6 million.

In the 2018 budget of group of SBB CFF FFS it shows revenues pairs to 9,64 billion franchi Swiss, with an increase of +2.2% on 2017. The operating profit has attested 586 million franchi Swiss (to +87.4%) and the clearly consolidated profit to 568 million (+42.5%).

Last year the operating performance in the segment of the passengers has been pairs to 18,5 billion pax/km (+0.6%).
