Quarterly results in increase for Danish DSV thanks to the effect of the fusion with Panalpina



Logistic group Danish DSV Panalpina has concluded the third trimester of this year, the first quarterly period to record the effects of the fusion with the logistic group Helvetic Panalpina that has been capacity to term 19th August(on 19 August 2019), with revenues pairs to 24,5 billion Danish crowns (3,3 billion euros), with an increment of +21.2% on the third trimester of the 2018 (organic increase, to clearly of the effect of the acquisition of Panalpina, have been of sign negative and pairs to -1,3%). EBITDA and EBIT are piled respective to 2,7 billion Danish crowns (+60.5%) and 1,8 billion Danish crowns (+18.4%). The profit clearly has been pairs to beyond 1,1 billion Danish crowns (+4.1%).

Single field of air shipments and marine operated from group, that it has recorded the more important effects of the acquisition of the Panalpina that derived 90% of own turnover from these activities, has totaled revenues pairs to 14,0 billion Danish crowns (+45.3%), an EBITDA of 1,4 billion Danish crowns (+36.1%) and an operating profit of 1,2 billion Danish crowns (+20.4%). The volume of goods enlivened for aerial way from the group in the third trimester of this year has been pairs to 289 thousand tons (+63.0%), while that enlivened for marine way has been pairs to 520 thousand container teu (+40.9%).

The segment of shipments via road has generated revenues pairs to 7,7 billion Danish crowns (- 1.5%), an EBITDA of 588 million Danish crowns (+56.0%) and a EBIT of 343 million Danish crowns (- 0.6%), while logistic other asset of the group has produced to revenues pairs to 3,5 billion Danish crowns (+1.4%), an EBITDA of 637 million (+165.4%) and an operating profit of 239 million Danish crowns (+29.9%).

In the first nine months of the 2019 revenues of group DSV Panalpina they have been attested 64,6 billion to Danish crowns, in increase of +11.1% on the correspondent period last year, of which 33,1 billion generated from the segment of air shipments and marine (+21.9%), 23,6 billion from the field of road haulage (+1.2%) and 9,7 billion from other asset (+3.0%). The EBITDA has been pairs to 7,4 billion Danish crowns (+59.2%) and the EBIT to 4,9 billion Danish crowns (+18.4%; the organic increase has been of +7.9%), of which 3,3 billion from air shipments and marine (+18.4%), 979 million from road haulage (+7.8%) and 673 million from other asset (+38.5%). The profit clearly is piled to 3,3 billion Danish crowns (+6.6%).

In the period January-september of this year the volume of the goods enlivened from DSV Panalpina for marine way has been pairs to 629 thousand teu (+22.5%), while that enlivened for aerial way has been almost 1,3 million tons (+17.2%).
