Agreement between the AdSP of the Adriatic Oriental and CCCC in order to promote projects for the development of traffics between Trieste and China



Today to Shanghai, in the within of the second edition of China International Import Expo (CIIE), the Authority of Harbour System of Mare Adriatico Orientale has signed a memorandum of understanding with China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), Chinese company mainly specialized in the planning and construction of infrastructures let alone in activity of dredging and the means production of handling.

The agreement, undersigned from the president of the giuliana authority Zeno D' Augustin and from Jingchun Wang of CCCC to the presence of the Minister of the Foreign policies and of the Italian cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, starts partnership for the development of projects until-Italians in China, as expected from the understandings signed from the AdSP and the CCCC last March to Rome(on 25 March 2019). Cooperation - it has explained the Italian harbour agency - than now sees an advance thanks to the concrete forecast of the creation of distributive platforms logistic/connected to the port of Trieste and service of the entire logistic system national Italian.

The memorandum previews that the giuliano port of call supports CCCC in the development of projects pilot, that they will be localized in the economic potential high areas of Guangzhou and Jiangsu, in the hinterland of the ports of Shanghai, Ningbo and Shenzen, all ports of call of the intercontinental services that are under responsibility of Trieste. Moreover, in the perspective to strengthen the role of all the logistic structures of the harbour region of Mare Adriatico Orientale, CCCC and the port of Trieste will collaborate also in order to afford the activation in the regional territory by the Chinese group of or more warehouses.

The AdSP has specified that the harbour agency will not have some participation directed to the risk of the development of the platforms, but will collaborate as aggregatrice active part, supplying support to the technical definition of the projects, to their promotion near the institutions and the enterprises in Italy and activating for the planning or the development of infrastructures, common services or instruments of trade facilitation useful to the replenishment of the logistic channel integrated Italy-China also through the Carriage free of Trieste. From part its CCCC will assume the risk of the operations connected to the development projects and it will be engaged to favor the Made in Italy through channels of spread of the Italian produced ones in China.

The harbour authority has specified that the new distributive logistic channel/could be tested already shortly in the within of the Italian wine, with particular attention to the production of the Region Friuli Venice Julia.

"The signature today - it has asserted Of Augustin - is important because it defines an active role of the Italian public system in the development of the logistics, in favor of one of the economic qualities more important of our Country, the Made in Italy. Draft of project on hand of the System Country: the logistic platforms will be able to facilitate the transport of the goods coming from all Italy, to support of the great companies and PMI. It is an important sign that this game is played own by the public sector".
