Japan's ONE announces investment of more than 20 billion dollars from here to 2030



Today, Japan's Ocean Network Express (ONE) presented its latest forecast for the development of its business and strategy in the medium term, announcing the next investment of 20 billion. On the basis of this forecast ONE has planned to invest more than 20 billion by 2030 in its own line-shipping business. Of these investments are not part of those already underway to increase this capacity of 520mila teu by fiscal year 2024 : if four 12,000-teu vessels were introduced in fiscal years 2020 and 2021, and four more from 15,000 teu, in the year fiscal 2022 is expected to include four 12,000-teu container carriers, in the next four 15,000-teu vessels and six 24,000-teu vessels, while six 15,000-teu vessels are expected to be 15,000-teu carriers and ten from 7,000 teu.
