Agreement between AdSP of Eastern Liguria and Tarros group for the sustainable development of the Gulf Terminal

The agreement provides that, thanks to the concession to JW, also of the area of 10 thousand square meters with supplementary act no. 23 of 13 April 2017, Tarros will be able to use the north side quay using the so-called "insole" as a landing point, located where the marinas of Fossamastra now insist. Here they will find there is also space for new activities with high added value, such as, e.g. passenger ferry services and project cargo. AdSP undertakes to carry out the roofing works of the Enel diffuser of Fossamastra and provide for the movement of the marinas still located on site, making it possible to start the conversion of the area. It also undertakes to continue the activity of excavation and reclamation of the seabed, as planned from the current Port Regulatory Plan.

In addition, JW undertakes to present the update of the enterprise; to guarantee AdSP the availability of areas from allocate to activities related to the execution of the dredging of the port; to guarantee suitable spaces for the eventual sediment management in the filling tank; the realization of the interventions necessary to ensure the development of transport train from the terminal and free the areas in front of the neighborhood to be dedicated to the band of respect.

In addition, through a specific protocol with annex timetable, AdSP and Tarros are committed, also through funds EU, to achieve, as part of the planned investments, objectives reduction of emissions, noise, increase of the band of respect between city and port. Especially Tarros undertakes to participate in the electrification project port operations according to the Green Port project, as well as to adopt the best and most advanced practices technologies to ensure environmental sustainability of the intervention, including by introducing, where possible, any measure suitable to ensure energy efficiency and energy production from renewable sources.
