
In 2024, the port terminals of the German group Hamburger Hafen
und Logistik AG (HHLA) handled container traffic
equal to 5.97 million TEUs, with an increase of +0.9% on the year
previous, of which 5.69 million TEUs handled by the terminals alone
in the port of Hamburg, the latter volume unchanged compared to the
2023. In addition, last year the group handled a traffic
intermodal sector equal to 1.79 million TEUs (+11.6%).
In the 2024 financial year, HHLA's revenues amounted to
€1.60 billion (+10.5%), of which €1.56 billion generated by
port activities (+10.8%). Operating profit was
of €134 million (+22.7%), with a contribution of €118 million from the
port operations (+26.8%). Net profit attributable to the Group
was 33 million (23 million from the
