
The Emirati maritime and port group AD Ports has bought
the Corredor Logística e Infraestrutura (CLI), which is the
Brazil's leading terminal operator in the
Agri-food Bulk Exports, which operates two terminals in the
port of Santos, in which it is present through CLI Sul of which
holds the entire share capital, and in the port of Itaqui, where
operates through CLI Norte of which it owns 80% of the capital
social. Ownership of CLI has been transferred by IG4
Capital and Macquarie Asset Management Real Assets (MAM) and the
transaction, which has a value of AED 3.1 billion (AED 835 million)
dollars), is expected to be completed in the second half of the
this year after the green light from the competent authorities.
Last year, CLI handled 17.2 million traffic
tons of goods, with a decrease of -10% on 2025, of which
10.0 million tonnes of cereals (+4%) and 7.2 million tonnes of cereals
tons of sugar (-25%). In 2025, the Brazilian company
recorded revenues of $178 million and an EBITDA of $98 million
millions.
