
Today in the Monfalcone shipyard, Fincantieri has
delivered the new
cruise ship Mein Schiff Flow to the
TUI Cruises, the 50:50 joint venture between Germany's TUI AG and the
Royal Caribbean Cruises. Unity is the
second of two cruise ships of the "InTUItion" class
newly developed dual-fuel with propulsion that can
powered by liquefied natural gas or marine gas oil. In addition,
Mein Schiff Flow is designed for the use of
low-emission alternative fuels, such as bio-LNG or e-LNG.
Mein Schiff Flow has a gross tonnage of about 160,000
tons and a capacity of about 4,000 passengers like the
twin Mein Schiff Relax that Fincantieri delivered to
February 2025

February 2025). In addition, last September it was
signed the contract for the construction of two additional new units
of the InTUItion class twins of Mein Schiff Relax and Mein
Schiff Flow that will be delivered in 2031 and 2032

of 29
September 2025).
Mein Schiff Flow's maiden voyage will depart
Sunday from Trieste. Initially, the ship will be used in the
Mediterranean, with routes to and from Palma de Mallorca. Later
the 2026/27 winter season will begin in Northern Europe, for
then head to the Canary Islands and the Caribbean at the beginning of the
2027.
