Yesterday the municipal council of Ravenna approved the project
for the extraordinary maintenance of the so-called
road in via Baiona, which extends for over two kilometers
between the roundabout of the Ormeggiatori and the roundabout on the railway in
correspondence of Alma Petroli. The intervention, worth 1.5
million euros, is financed by the System Authority
Port of the Central and Northern Adriatic Sea, as provided for by
a specific program agreement signed with the Municipality, and is
has been identified as a priority within the technical table
set up by the Municipality and the Port Authority together with the trade unions and
the Integrated System of Workers' Representation for the
site security, with the aim of addressing the different
problems present in the port area. The agreement provides that
the Port System Authority fully finances the work and
performs the function of contracting authority, while the Municipality has
drawn up the project and will take care of the supervision of the works.
