Next Tuesday in Rome, at the headquarters of the Italian Confederation of Shipowners, the event will be held "Cyber-resilience in the maritime sector: defence, regulations and European cooperation" organized by Var Group and Confitarma. The initiative will bring together representatives of the maritime, institutions and cybersecurity for a discussion on the evolution of cyber and hybrid threats and the new challenges that the sector is called upon to face.

The recent developments in the geopolitical scenario, the increase in the and new regulatory obligations are redefining the concept of safety in the maritime sector. In this context, strengthening the resilience of ships, ports and supply chains is a a strategic priority for operators, institutions and industry. The meeting will then explore the main risks for the sector, new hybrid threats, Maritime Cyber Risk and the strategies needed to strengthen the security of the entire supply chain.
