The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has given News today of three new attacks on ships in transit in the Strait of Hormuz. The British agency announced that it had communication of an attack that took place yesterday against an oil tanker that was hit by a bullet. Also yesterday two other ships, a tanker and a methane tanker were hit by bullets. In addition, the UKMTO has indirectly received notice of a further attack that took place yesterday, with a bullet that would have hit a ship on which a fire would have broken out that would have been tamed, allowing the unit to continue sailing without any consequences for the crew.

Meanwhile, the Iranian media have announced that the authorities of Tehran have received the official US response to the proposal to end the war in the Middle East. All this while US President Donald Trump, who on Saturday publicly rejected the Iranian government's proposal, announced for the umpteenth time on his social network "Truth" that the American armed forces won the battle of Hormuz and that the Iranian regime does not control the Strait. Armed Forces who today announced the completion of the withdrawal of forces and means from the Erbil air base, in Iraq, and the end of of Operation Inherent Resolve implemented by a coalition multinational corporation under the aegis of the UN to counter terrorists of Daesh (Isis) in Iraq and Syria. Announcing the withdrawal, the U.S. Central Command (Centcom) specified that the Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) remains operational and now is based in Jordan, while U.S. forces continue their mission to counter ISIS in Syria alongside the partners of the coalition and the Syrian government.
