 Lo scorso mese il porto di Long Beach ha registrato una movimentazione container pari a 494.376 teu, con una progressione del 30,2% rispetto ai 379.811 teu movimentati nel settembre 2003. Gli sbarchi e gli imbarchi di container pieni sono ammontati rispettivamente a 255.592 teu (+23,9%) e a 76.190 teu (+15,6%). La movimentazione di container vuoti si è attestata a 162.594 teu (+51,2%).
Nei primi nove mesi di quest'anno il porto di Long Beach ha totalizzato una movimentazione container pari a 4.088.234 teu (+20,5%).
Nello scorso settembre il porto di Los Angeles ha movimentato 592.781 teu, con un calo del 4,8% rispetto al settembre 2003. Gli sbarchi e gli imbarchi di container pieni sono diminuiti rispettivamente a 318.722 teu (-6,8%) e a 76.129 teu (-9,2%). La movimentazione di container vuoti è stata di 197.930 teu (+0,6%).
Nei primi nove mesi di quest'anno il porto di Los Angeles ha movimentato 5.496.463 teu (+3,4%).
