Lo scalo asiatico ha movimentato 63,8 milioni di tonnellate (+7%)

Il Census and Statistics Department di Hong Kong ha reso noti oggi i dati statistici definitivi relativi al traffico delle merci registrato nel porto di Hong Kong nel secondo trimestre di quest'anno. Nel periodo lo scalo asiatico ha movimentato complessivamente 63,8 milioni di tonnellate, con un incremento del 7% rispetto al periodo aprile-giugno del 2006. Gli sbarchi sono aumentati del 5% attestandosi a 37,3 milioni di tonnellate, mentre gli imbarchi sono aumentati del 10% a 26,6 milioni di tonnellate.
Il traffico dei container è stato pari a 6,1 milioni di teu (+4% sul secondo trimestre 2006). Nella prima metà del 2007 i container sono ammontati a 11,5 milioni di teu, in crescita del 2% sullo stesso periodo del 2006.
