Nel primo semestre del 2008 il porto di Hong Kong ha movimentato 130,8 milioni di tonnellate di merci (+10%)
Nel secondo trimestre il traffico è cresciuto del 7%

Il Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) di Hong Kong ha reso noti i dati definitivi del traffico delle merci registrato dal porto di Hong Kong nel secondo trimestre e nel primo semestre di quest'anno. Nel periodo aprile-giugno il traffico è stato di 68,2 milioni di tonnellate, in crescita del 7% rispetto al secondo trimestre del 2007, mentre nei primi sei mesi del 2008 si è attestato a 130,8 milioni di tonnellate, con un incremento del 10% rispetto alla prima metà dello scorso anno.
Nel primo semestre del 2008 la movimentazione dei container è stata pari a 12.016.000 teu (+4%).
