Today to Venice the "Safety Day" has held, a day of reflection and confronts on thematic the relative ones to safety in the organized place of job from the Harbour Authority with Centro Formazione Logistica Intermodale (CFLI). In occasion of the event some harbour workers are rewarded who have marked themselves "for practical, particularly sure initiatives or attitudes demonstrating to know to be proattivi in signaling potential problematic been necessary in the normal harbour activities with a propositivo and responsible attitude, involving also the job colleagues and suggesting possible solutions". The Harbour Authority of Venice has remembered that in 2008 the S.O.I is instituted., an integrated operating system for safety in port that allows - through the continuous monitoring of the harbour areas and the procedures (for example fumigation of the container and control of powders) - to constantly verify the conditions of job in safety of which they work in the Venetian port of call and to operate in prevention. However - it has found the harbour agency - the good practical depend also from the fact that all, are they employers or dependent, contribute actively to safety in the workplace. For rimarcare such approach the "Safety Day" has been organized, with which it agrees to strengthen the importance of the culture of safety and to place to the center of the debate the value of the person and the importance of the behaviors of every subject involved in the row of the responsibilities.

The Harbour Authority has evidenced moreover that the attention to safety, that includes among other things beyond 600 inspections per year, has lead to decrease of the number of accidents that in 2012 have been pairs to 35.3% in less regarding 2011, to a decrease of the number of infractions found of 17.1% regarding 2011. The nete it has specified that the objective for 2013 is more and more to involve in the inspections the workers and the summits of the harbour enterprises.
