Today to Città di Castello the first stone for the construction of the intermodal logistic Platform of Alto Tevere is put down, one of the three previewed in Umbria, with Terni-Narni and Foligno. The Platform of Alto Tevere is inserted in the first program of the "Objective Law", in the general understanding picture undersigned between the government and contained the Umbria Region and in the document of economic programming and financial institution 2008-2012. for an amount works of about 15 million euros. The Region has supplied to cover beyond 50% of the necessary resources. The participation interests a surface of 130 thousand square metres located to north of Città di Castello, between the industrial zones of the same municipality and of that of San Giustino.
