The ministry of Infrastructures and the Transports, with I decree n. 300 on August 6, 2013, have redefined the limits of territorial administrative division of the Harbour Authority of Gioia Tauro having extended them to the port of Villa San Giovanni, between the greater fleeting ports of call on a national level.
