we are conscious, as every Italian that has to heart its Country, of the difficulties that it crosses Italy and of the often painful choices, complex and, than by now daily the Government is called to complete. It is own for that today we write hoping to attract the attention of the SS.LL., on a field that until today it has express, also in the climax of the economic crisis, positive indicators is in terms of production of wealth, increment of the occupation and increase of the jettison at sea produced in favor of the State. We refer to the field of the ports and the marine activities, than it not only represents the spine of a logistic and productive system that it sees to journey for beyond 80% the goods and the produced ones imported or exported through the docks of the ports and the holds of the ships, but also an exceptional catalyst of resources, private investments, with fallen back important on other strategic economic rows of the country, as that of tourism.

When She, kindest President, in occasion of the presentation of an analysis on the section in which our category as many other work, recognized to this field the importance that deserves, Its declarations had the taste for the first time to ignite the hope of a new age, in which the ports and the marine activities they did not come more considered smaller sons than an economic God, but key factors for the development of the country.

Unfortunately today we find to record a dramatic decrease of tension with choices, firstly that to cancel the Head office for the Ports inside of the Ministry of Infrastructures and the Transports, that they doubly turn out incomprehensible when the European Union invests with force on the development of the ports and the marine activities which elements of increase and resumption of the entire economy of the continent and that other countries "rediscover" the importance of the field, giving again life to structures of specific governance as happens in Greece with the baby Ministry of the sea.
