Project in order to optimize the traffic between the ports of Genoa and La Spezia and the logistic hire of Ikea to Piacenza



Today in the genoese center of the Agency of Customs an encounter finalized to giving an ulterior impulse to the project "Il Trovatore" realized from the customs administration has held through the activation of "controlled corridors" in order to immediately transfer the container in arrival in the ports of Genoa and La Spezia to the logistic node of Piacenza of Ikea, where the import operations will be completed. The collaboration between the Agency of Customs and Ikea constitutes a testing ground in order to decongest the harbour spaces increasing of in fact the receptivity and to reduce the times of the cycle of import allowing with the companies to integrate the customs implementations with own logistic procedures.

The "controlled corridors" will be realized by the Agency of Customs with the collaboration of UIRNeT, the subject actuator of National the Logistic Platform, by means of I use it of installed devices of control on the means of transport who allow the marking of handling of the container in the respect of the which predetermined distances, sending alarms in case of shunting lines from the tracing and/or delays in the conclusion of the transport. The "controlled corridors" and the Unico Doganale Door will allow, with the collaboration of the other national administrations involved to miscellaneous title in the controls of the goods, to reduce lessened the times of clearance. Draft - it has emphasized the Agency of Customs - of an important simplification in sight of the increment of the connected operations of import to EXPO 2015.

The project "the longest dock" will be realized in two phases: in the first phase, operating from on March 31, 2015, the transfer of container from the harbour nodes of Genoa and La Spezia to the logistic node of Piacenza for a limited group of marine and street operators will be experienced; in the second one other scenes, enclosed will be able to be defined the intermodal nodes.

To the today's reunion the summits of the Agency of Customs and the Monopolies have participated, of the Harbour Authorities of Genoa and La Spezia, UIRNeT, the Ministry of the Economic Development, SOGEI (technological partner of the Agency) and of Ikea, Circle (technological partner of Ikea).
