Undersigned the agreement of program for Marghera Port that previews investments for 153 million euros



Today near the Ministry of the economic Development (the Agreement of program for the reconversion and the economic requalification of the industrial area of Marghera Port with the objective to consolidate the existing activities Put) has been undersigned, to favor new investments finalized to the industrial reconversion, to the ambientalizzazione and new functional infrastructures to the productive activities. The industrial requalification regards in fact the 2,000 hectares of productive, commercial and terziari takeovers, navigation channels and basins, commercial port and infrastructures that make of Marghera Port one of the greatest coastal industrial zones of Europe.

In the within of the Agreement of program the Harbour Authority of Venice will take care of the realization of a series of participations, for 69,5 million euros, that they regard mainly the realization and modification of the docks, the implementation of large squares and participations for the practicability, with the scope to obtain an improvement of the ability to the port and a greater efficiency of the operativity of the industrial and harbour terminals.
