Today to the Chamber of Commerce of Livorno, in the course of an organized convention from Tuscany Logistics, the results reached in 18 months of job in the within of the project are introduced Connection (Rail Access from Coast to Corridor), co-financed from the EU commission, regarding relative progettuali studies to the railway connections between the Interporto Amerigo Vespucci and the railway line Collesalvetti-Go.

Three are the previewed railway works from the project: the railway connection between the port of Livorno and the Interporto Amerigo Vespucci (the so-called one "I climb over" of the tirrenica line), that it has a cost of 17 million euros, work that will be started the next year and it will be concluded in 2019; moreover they are about to arrive to the conclusive phase the projects of the connection between interporto and the Go-Collesalvetti-Pisa line (cost 94 million euros) and the bypass of the station of Pisa (91 million euros), whose work will finish respective in 2022 and in 2024.
