Norwegian Cruise Line celebrates the results records obtained in the third trimester



Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has closed the third trimester of this year with results record. The first ship, of new construction, in fact is taken in delivery from NCL in October 2015, the Siren, constructed in 1999 and recently modernized, it has entered to take part last March of the fleet of the brand Oceania Cruises and the Seven Seas Explorer has entered in the fleet of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises brand last june.

In the third trimester of the 2016 revenues of crocieristico group NCL they have marked totally an increase of +15.6% having gone up to 1,48 billion dollars regarding 1,28 billion dollars in the period July-september last year. Emphasized also the increment of the operating profit that is piled to 413,6 million dollars (+34.8%) so as that of the clearly attested profit to 342,4 million dollars (+36.0%). In the third trimester of this year the fleet of the group has boarded 636 thousand crocieristi (+10.7%).

In the first nine months of the 2016 revenues they have been pairs to 3,75 billion dollars, in increase of +13.3% on the correspondent period of 2015. Operating and useful profit clearly has turned out pairs respective to 771,4 million dollars (+32.0%) and 560,8 million dollars (+44.2%). In the first nine months of this year on the ships of the fleet passengers (+9.1% are gone up altogether almost 1,8 million).

NCL previews that the positive trend of the results will continue in the next few months and in the next year. "We are on the good road - the financial director of the crocieristico group has explained, Wendy Beck - in order to obtain in a 2016 considerable increase to two figures of the profit diluted per.share in spite of the produced adverse conditions from the happened geopolitical events at the beginning of the year that have had an impact on the question of cruises in the Mediterranean".
