In the 2016 terminal of the Eurogate group they have enlivened 14,6 million container (+0.4%)



In the 2016 harbour terminal that is under responsibility of the Eurogate, joint venture joint between the Germans Eurokai and BLG Logistics, they have enlivened a traffic of the container pairs to 14,6 million teu, with an light progression of +0.4% on the year precedence.

The single terminals managed from the company in Germany have enlivened 8,2 million teu, an identical volume to that of the year precedence. Almost stable they have turned out the enlivened volumes of traffic in the ports of Bremerhaven and Amburgo that have been pairs respective almost 5,5 million teu (- 0.6%) and 2,3 million teu (- 0.9%), while in the port of Wilhelmshaven the traffic has recorded an increment of +12.9% having gone up to 482 thousand teu.

Last year the Italian terminals managed from the Contship Italy, society participated to 33.4% from the Eurogate and 66.6% from the Eurokai, that they are situated in the ports of Cagliari, Gioia Tauro, La Spezia, Salerno and Ravenna, have enlivened altogether 5,0 million teu, with an increase of +4.6% regarding than less 4,8 million teu in 2015.

The remaining terminals that are under responsibility to Eurogate have totally enlivened almost 1,4 million teu (- 10.5%), of which beyond 1,1 million teu in the port of Moroccan of Tanger Med (- 8.4%), 155 thousand teu in the portuguese port of Lisbon (- 25.3%) and 82 thousand teu in the Russian port of Ust-Luga (- 4.3%).

In the solo fourth trimester of the 2016 harbour terminal of Eurogate they have enlivened a containerized trade total pairs to 3,4 million teu, with a bending of the -0,5% on the correspondent period of the year precedence. The single German terminals have recorded a decided contraction of the traffic that is come down to 1,8 million teu (- 8.0%), of which 1,3 million teu in the port of Bremerhaven (- 2.7%), 458 thousand teu in the port of Amburgo (- 16.7%) and 70 thousand teu in the port of Wilhelmshaven (- 30.6%). In the single Italian terminals of the group the traffic is increased of +7.5% to beyond 1,2 million teu. In increase it has turned out also the traffic to Tanger Med where +19.3%) and to Lisbon are enlivened 297 thousand teu (where the traffic has been of 50 thousand teu (+16.2%), while to enlivened Ust-Luga a bending of the -5,9% is found being 22 thousand teu.
