Triennial Operations plan 2017-2019 of the port of Taranto



Yesterday the Committee of management of the Authority of Harbour System of the Ionian Sea, the agency that is succeeded to the Harbour Authority in the management of the port of Taranto, has approved of unanimously the "Triennial Operations plan 2017-2019 and Vision 2030 of the port of Taranto" after to have acquired, as expected from the law, the positive opinion unanimously expressed from the members of the Organism of partnership of the resource sea in the reunion held in the course of the morning.

the harbour agency has explained that the harbour document of planning "is anticipated with dresses innovative regarding the past, characterized from a strategic approach more wide breath that contributes to align the programming of the agency to that communitarian one, let alone to the main ones milestones introduced from National the Strategic Plan of the Portualità and the Logistics and formalized through the law of reform of the Italian harbour system".

the AdSP has specified that with the new POT it has intended in fact "to look to the future and to trace a vision to 2030, with the objective to define the agenda of the development of the Jonian port of call through an approach business-oriented face to the promotion of the traffics, through politics of economic-environmental sustainability and in the optical to strengthen and to value the territorial identity of the city of Taranto in its it dresses of city-port".

Moreover in the reunion yesterday the Committee of management has deliberated unanimously to proceed to the constitution of the Agency for the administration of the job in port and for the professional requalification (transhipment). In the next few days will be characterized the only administrator and constituted the Agency, that it will have the scope to support the occupation, to accompany the processes of industrial reconversion of harbour infrastructures and to avoid serious prejudice to the operativity and the efficiency harbour, through activity of support to the professional positioning of the harbour workers enrolled in own lists, also through formative distances dedicated to the workers who will be shared with the Region Apulia.
