First period of two months of 2018 in increase for the ports of Taranto and Venice, while Trieste has recorded a decrease



In the first two months of this year the port of Taranto has enlivened altogether 3,8 million tons of goods, with an increment of +5.0% regarding 3,6 million tons in the first period of two months of 2017. The cargos to the disembarkation are piled to 2,2 million tons (+10.5%) and those to the boarding to 1,6 million tons (- 1.8%). Altogether the bulk traffics are increased, with the solid bulk that has attested to 2,0 million tons (+8.9%) and those liquid to 994 thousand tons (+10.2%). Bending, instead, of the goods several that has totaled 790 thousand tons (- 8.7%).

The port of Trieste has closed the first period of two months of 2018 with a total traffic of the goods pairs to 9,6 million tons, with an light decrease of the -1,0% on the first two months last year. The cargos to the disembarkation are piled to 8,4 million tons (- 2.0%) and those to the boarding to beyond 1,2 million tons (+6.8%). The reduction of the enlivened total is determined by the contraction of the -4,2% of the liquid bulk that has been pairs to 6,9 million tons, of which 6,7 million tons of crude oil (- 6.4%), 219 thousand producing tons of oil refined (to +225.2%) and 11 thousand tons of chemicals (+7.8%). The bulk sand banks is increased of +2.1% to 199 thousand tons, of which 104 thousand tons of minerals, concretes and materials from construction (- 2.0%), 49 thousand tons of producing metalworkers (+100.0%), 27 thousand tons of cereals (+8.8%), 13 thousand tons of coal and lignite (- 76.5%) and 6 thousand tons of other solid bulk (- 27.0%). In the field of the goods several the total has been of beyond 2,5 million tons (+8.9%), of which 1,0 million tons of goods in container (+19.9%) pairs to 95.276 teu (+16.3% realized with a handling of containers), 1,4 million tons of rotabili (+0.3%) and 93 thousand several tons of other goods (+46.4%).

In the first two months of this year the traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Venice has grown of +10.2% to 4,5 million tons regarding 4,1 million tons in the correspondent period of 2017. The cargos to the disembarkation have been pairs to 3,6 million tons (+11.9%) and those to the boarding to 841 thousand tons (+3.7%). Altogether the goods several has been attested 1,5 million to tons (+3.8%), of which 845 thousand containerized tons of goods (- 6.5%) totaled with a container handling pairs to 92.425 teu (- 3.5%), 288 thousand tons of cargos ro-ro (+41.0%) and 398 thousand several tons of other goods (+8.7%). In the segment of the liquid bulk tons (+6.2% are enlivened almost 1,5 million), of which 1,2 million producing tons of oil refined (+8.8%), 188 thousand tons of chemicals (- to 7.5%) and 36 thousand tons of other cargos liquids (+1.1%). The solid bulk is piled at less than 1,5 million tons (+22.8%), of which 457 thousand tons of producing metalworkers (+53.7%), 408 thousand tons of coal and lignite (- 12.6%), 230 thousand tons of feeds, feed and oily seeds (+5.3%), 229 thousand tons of cereals (+77.4%), 74 thousand tons of minerals, concretes and materials from construction (+104.5%), 43 thousand tons of chemicals (to +765.3%) and 34 thousand tons of other bulk sand banks (- 28.9%). In the section of the cruises the traffic has been of 6 thousand fleeting (+1,209, 9%).
