Agreement RFI - port of Naples for the improvement of the connections of the harbour port of call with the railway net



Today Maurizio Gentile, managing director of Italian Railway Net (Group FS Italian), and Pietro Spirito, president of the Authority of Harbour System of Mare Tirreno Centrale, has undersigned a protocol of understanding for the infrastructural potenziamento of the port of Naples. The agreement institutes a combined working group who in next the seven months will characterize the necessary participations of infrastructural development to the connection of the partenopeo marine port of call with national the railway net.

In particular the working group will deepen the progettuale solution that previews the realization of a new station and railway terminal with module of 750 meters in proximity of the current system of Naples Saint Giovanni Barra. The working group will complete the study of feasibility within the end of the next October with a presentation of the shared results.
