Grendi, Bogazzi, Port of Carrara and Euan Lonmon have constituted ProCargo Line Tunisia



The marine and trasportistico group genoese Grendi has planned and constituted the new company of navigation ProCargo Line with marine agency carrarese Bogazzi Vittorio & Figli, with the harbour enterprise carrarese Port of Carrara and with the entrepreneur Euan Lonmon, than between the activities Corsica Sardinia Blue Ferries and Strade has carried out also those of leader in the marine companies.

ProCargo Line Tunisia will have its operating base in the port of Cagliari from where it will scale the ports of the center and south of Tunisia di Sousse, Sfax and Zarzis. Initially the new company will activate next 8 May a Marine service weekly magazine of Carrara-Cagliari-Tunisia, with the perspective to intensify the departures. On the new marine line the ship Altinia, a ro-ro will be employed of 150 meters of length and with a hold of 1.150 linear meters. The forecasts are to transport beyond 200.000 tons of goods in the first 12 months of operativity.

The partner of the initiative has specified that ProCargo Line will be able to make use of the system of boarding and "cassette" disembarkation, an innovative technology introduced in already the wide experienced Mediterranean and with success from the Grendi group. Thanks to these ProCargo structures he will be able to manage three cargo categories: the rotabili, the containers and general the cargo, that is special cargos which large steel equipment, coils, marble benches. The Tarros group has specified that it will participate to the service for the business of the container is for the Italian market that for that Tunisian.
