The total contraction of the traffic is determined by the reduction of the -5,6% of the solid bulk that has been attested 1,53 million to tons. The goods several, instead, is increased of +3.2% going up to 1,60 million tons so as the liquid bulk that, with 785 thousand tons, has recorded a rise of +3.9%. In the field of the passengers, the crocieristi have been 246 thousand (+5.4%) and the passengers of ferries 299 thousand (- 2.0%).

The main ports for volume of total traffic of the goods have confirmed Brindisi, with 1,80 million tons (- 14.4%), and Bari, with 1,68 million tons (+20.8%). In the port of Brindisi more consisting the decrease of the traffic has been that of the bulk sand banks that have totaled 633 thousand tons (- 30.7%), of which 450 thousand tons of carbons and lignites (- 42.2%), oleaginous 69 thousand tons of producing metalworkers (0%), 51 thousand tons of alimentary commodities, feeds and (- 19.5%), 16 thousand tons of cereals (+2.9%), 7 thousand tons of minerals, concretes and soccers (- 55.9%) and 41 thousand tons of other solid bulk (0%). The liquid bulk is diminished of the -2,1% to 602 thousand tons, included 351 thousand producing tons of oil refined (- 11.1%), 200 thousand oil tons of producing gaseous, which liquified or compressed and natural gas (+10.2%) and 51 thousand tons of other cargos liquids (+32.0%). The bending of the goods several has been of the -1,9%, with 545 thousand tons of rotabili (- 4.5%) and 22 thousand tons of other cargos (+209.5%). To Brindisi the crocieristi have been 27 thousand (- 40.3%) and the passengers of the ferries 98 thousand (- 7.0%).

In the port of Bari the total increment of +20.8% of the traffic of the goods is mainly generated by the rise of +55.8% of the solid bulk to 653 thousand tons, of which 621 thousand of cereals (+59.6%) to which tons of producing to metalworkers and 12 thousand of minerals, concretes and soccers join to 20 thousand, two flows of traffic you do not anticipate in the period April-june last year. In increase (+5.6%) also the goods several that is piled to 1,02 million tons, of which 827 thousand tons of cargos ro-ro (+4.2%), 174 thousand containerized tons of goods (0%) realized with a handling of containers pairs to 19.994 teu (+23.7%) and 25 thousand tons of other cargos (+579.9%). To Bari the crocieristi have been 218 thousand (+16.3%) and the passengers of ferries 201 thousand (+0.7%).

In the first semester of the 2019 ports of call of the harbour system of the Southern Adriatic they have enlivened altogether 7,18 million tons of goods, with a bending of the -3,1% on the first half last year, of which 5,25 million tons to disembarkation (- 3.6%) and 1,93 million tons to the boarding (- 1.8%). Totally the goods several pairs to 3,04 million tons (+0.4%), the solid bulk to 2,62 million tons (- 9.1%) and the liquid bulk to 1,51 million tons (+1.2% have been).

In the first six months of this year the single port of Brindisi has enlivened 3,34 million tons of goods (- 15.9%), of which 1,14 million tons of liquid bulk (- 8.2%), 1,10 million several tons of goods (- 2.4%) and 1,10 million tons of solid bulk (- 31.4%).

In the first half of the 2019 harbour port of call of Bari it has enlivened 2,96 million tons of cargos (+12.0%), included 1,93 million several tons of goods (+1.8%) and 1,03 million tons of solid bulk (+38.0%).
