To Formed Civitavecchia the training course "to the Port"



The European Escola Intermodal Transport, European center of formation for the intermodal transport and the logistics, and the Authority of Harbour System of Formed the Centro Settentrionale Tyrrhenian Sea promotes the project "to the Port" that it aimed to above all form the students of the high schools and of the university in the marine field and that of the logistics. The main objective of the initiative, already experimented in the port of Barcelona, is that to approach and to get in touch the specific demands for the companies with the competences offered from the territory in terms of professionality.

The course, in collaboration with the more important national associations of local numerous the marine field and of partner which the Municipality of Civitavecchia, the Agency of Customs, the Tuscia university, the ITC Guido Baccelli, Automar, the Ormeggiatori Group, the Port Mobility Spa and the Harbour office, is supported also by the Ministry of Infrastructures and the Transports. "Formed to the Port" one will hold to Civitavecchia in the Italian center of the European Escola Intermodal Transport located near the center of the AdSP.

The port and its operators, the harbour community, put their acquaintances, infrastructures and equipments to the service of the formation and, therefore, the same city. The formation and the promotion of the occupation - it has emphasized Rodès - must, therefore, constitute the spirit that moves "Formed to the Port", with the complicity and the aid of all".

The increasing I strongly use of the so-called "Freeways of the Sea", intentional from the European Union, has carried remarkable benefits in terms of decongestion of the terrestrial nets, facilitation of the flow of the logistic chains and reduction of the environmental impact. Today, the port of Civitavecchia perceives, still more than yesterday, the necessity to offer competitive services and, above all, to invest on the human factor forming a logistic community that is able to face the future challenges and strategically to place the port in front line in the logistic activity of the Mediterranean. From here the importance of a specific formation in intermodal transport and Freeways of the Sea that will afford to design, to door to door construct and to manage with greater efficiency and safety the logistic operations, offering the instruments necessary in order to analyze to the direct costs and the environmental impact. All fundamental elements for the enterprises that aim to increase own competitiveness on the market".
