The operating costs instead are diminished of the -1,0% attesting itself to 2,46 billion euros. The EBITDA is piled to 554,0 million euros (+43.9%), the EBIT to 253,4 million euros (+21.6%) and the profit clearly to 150,4 million euros (+32.6%).

On the routes with the Far East the transported total has been of 593 thousand teu (- 0.3%), the medium hire have been of 912 dollars/teu (- 6.7%) and the revenues of 580,3 million euros, with a consisting increment of evidently not correlated +28.4% to the transported volumes and the rates applied for services but verosimilmente determined from the allocation, beginning from the third trimester of this year, cargos from and for Oceania to this area of market rather than, as previously, to that which it includes Europe/Med and Africa, important increase however in consideration of the fact that Hapag-Lloyd, as a result of this reassignment, has rectified the data of the correspondent period of 2018 (the 595 thousand one teu transported; medium hire of 978 USD/teu and revenues of 452,1 million euros). The marine lines of the company for the Middle East have transported 335 thousand teu (- 3.2%), with a medium hire who has turned out of 733 dollars/teu (- 2.3%) and with revenues totals pairs to 221,2 million euros (- 1.1%). The marine services intra-asiati us of the company have transported 230 thousand teu (- 10.5%), with a medium hire pairs to 522 dollars/teu (+6.4%) for total revenues pairs to 114,1 million euros (- 0.3%). The services with Mediterranean Europe/and Africa have transported 163 thousand teu (+11.6%), the medium hire have been of 1.072 dollars/teu (+7.2%) and the revenues of 63,1 million euros, with an anomalous decrease of the -63,1% reasonably attributable one to the same reasons that have generated the unusual increment of the revenues of the services with Far East.

In the first nine months of this year the total revenues of the Germanic company have been pairs to 9,48 billion euros, in increase of +11.7% on the correspondent period of 2018. More content the increase of the operating costs that are piled to 7,29 billion (+3.5%). EBITDA and EBIT have turned out pairs respective to 1,51 billion euros (+86.1%) and 642,8 million euros (+114.9%) and the profit clearly has been attested to 296,7 million euros (+2,273, 6%). Containerized the cargo volumes transported from the ships of the fleet in the period January-september of the 2019 have been pairs to 9,01 million teu (+1.2%).

"In the first nine months - the managing director of Hapag-Lloyd has commented, Rolf Habben Jansen - we have obtained a result of all respect. In spite of the geopolitical tensions and the restrictions to the commercial exchanges, we have benefitted of greater transported volumes and of hires more elevated and, moreover, we have held under tightened control the costs. And the same one is worth for our objective to become the numbers as for quality".

While the German company has announced the nomination of Mark Frese to financial director of the company, role that will assume next 25 November having succeeded to Nicolás Burr in charge from March 2015.
