Original news the marine group Spanish Boluda Corporación Marítima has won the contest for the management of the terminal multipurpose to the pier Príncep d'Espanya of the port of Barcelona started in recent months(of 26 February 2026). Today the board of administration of the Harbour Authority of the Catalan port of call has deliberated the adjudication of the contest to the Boluda Maritime Terminals of the group of Valencia.

The tender procedure, initiated in view of the expiry during this year of the concession held by the company Manipuladora de Mercancías (Sammer) of the Spanish Grupo Mestre, had collected three offers submitted by the same Sammer, the Boluda and the Peruvian Andino Inversions Global. The proposal of Boluda Maritime Terminals has got the highest overall score.

The concession contract under the Boluda will last 16 years. The company previews a volume of marine traffic of at least 1.300.000 tons annual in the period 2028-2032. Under the new management the terminal, which has 531 linear meters of dock, will continue to move various goods not containerized and also container.
