Il 4 e 5 ottobre prossimi il terminal crocieristico di Ponte dei Mille nel porto di Genova ospiterà il terzo europeo workshop del network tematico Realise (Regional Action for Logistical Integration of Shipping across Europe) sul tema "Infrastructure and intermodal services for short Sea Shipping". L'appuntamento è organizzato dall'Autorità Portuale di Genova, dall'Università di Genova, dall'Erasmus University e da AMRIE.
Realise, istituito come network tematico triennale, ha iniziato ad operare il 1' ottobre 2002 con l'obiettivo di individuare strategie e metodologie per sostenere lo sviluppo dello short sea shipping, inclusa l'implementazione di tecnologie appropriate.
