Al Transport Logistic the Apulia will introduce two new centralized logistic services on the port of Bari



The Region Apulia and the Chamber of Commerce of Bari will participate to the logistic fair international Transport Logistic that will tomorrow open the clappers to Monk of Bavaria. The event will be the occasion in order to introduce new services LCL realized Med and Bari Easy Port from the Chamber of Commerce in the within of strategic project GIFT 2,0, financed to be worth on the communitarian program of cross-border cooperation Greece-Italy 2007-13, that it in the launch sees the councillorship to the Transports and mobility of the Region Apulia as lead partner and from Bari Chamber of Commerce engaged of cases pilot for the traffic goods. To guarantee the operativity of both services it will be instead the Regional Interporto of the Apulia, through its business unit IRP Intermodal & Logistics Services, in combination of enterprise with Istop Spamat, society specialized in the customs and harbour services.

Service LCL MED will allow to use the Interporto which platform of consolidation of the goods destined to the export. The goods, once consolidated, will come correspondents to destination near the more important distributive platforms world-wise (Dubay, Hong Kong, New York, Singapore, Buenos Aires), mainly using the port of Bari for the boarding of the containers. Between the objectives there is that more in general terms to offer more competitive rates to the apulian companies and of entire Southern Italy, especially those of the field food, than currently they are obliged for the shipment of small amounts of goods, not in a position to saturating a single container, to use platforms of consolidation located in the Italy North and therefore to embark the goods from the ports of Genoa, La Spezia or Rotterdam.

Among other things, in order to favor the export towards the more and more interested Countries of Islamic religion to the produced ones of the Italian excellence, the warehouse of consolidation near the Regional Interporto of the Apulia also is certifyd Halal, allowing with the endowed companies of the same certification for the production process to guarantee to the final customer the respect of this standard also for the logistic chain.

The service of "long dock" Bari Easy Port previews instead the realization in the within of the interportuale structure of an area of temporary guard, equipped also for the warehouse of containers of goods IMO/ADR (varnishes, detergents, chemicals, etc).), connected with the port of Bari from a dedicated service of shuttle. Al moment in fact from Bari port does not allow the reception of containers of goods IMO/ADR of extra-EU origin not being able to have of areas opportunely dedicated to the warehouse of such type of goods. With the Bari Easy Port service the containers as soon as unloaded to the port of Bari, included those contents goods IMO/ADR, they will be transferred to the interporto by a motor vehicle opportunely which ordered to the customs aims and which monitored from GPS system. The presence near the interportuale structure of the Operating Section Territorial "Interporto" of the Agency of Customs will allow to carry out in efficiency the operations of clearance of the goods before this is transferred successively near the final destination.
