Two more Belotti straddle-carriers for the port of Quassor in Irak
The straddle-carriers to be provided with will be four totally, for an amount of 3,1 US dollars

Belotti has been granted the supply of another two tele-serviced sraddle-carriers for the port of Quassor in Irak. (inforMARE, March 6).
The General ports of Irak Company has confirmed the further purchase of two tyre straddle carriers manufactured by the Italian company.
This success is due either to the extreme manufacturing simplicity of this machinery and to the utmost technology applied to them. Actually, the Belotti straddle-carriers, like any other unit of the last generation (reach-stackers, port-tractors, fork-lifts and special units for a load of 100 tons), are equipped with a GSM software-system installed inside the machine, which allows the transmission of all the technical data to the base by an internal modem. Thanks to this "unique in the world" system it is possible to prevent any kind of damage, because the on-boarder computer keeps the unit under control continuously, so that the minute a failure has been found, does the Belotti-Service get the proper signal.
The Belotti Teleservice can be also connected, on request of the customer, to the final user operative central system, in order to identify both the unit and the handled goods immediately.
This providing is going to be added to the previous tender concerning two Straddle-Carrier, which has been brightly won by Belotti Handling Spa on the last 6th of march . All the vehicles (4 straddle-carrier) have a loading capacity of 40 tons under spreader, for the containers moving of 20 such as 40 and 45 tons up to the third row, at the port of Um-Qassor.
